The Laurium Manor Inn was built in 1908 for Thomas H. and Cornelia Hoatson, owners of the Calumet and Arizona Mining Company and is one of several mansions built by the copper mine owners in this period. The 45 room mansion is approximately 13,000 square feet and features four levels with grand décor, including a triple staircase using hand-carved oak, a stained glass window, and several murals. The home is open for tours and also operates as a seasonal bed and breakfast.
